Applications are now open for the 2024 Fall Community Police Academy, officials say

Chattanooga, TN – According to the CPD officials, the academy will commence on September 5th and run through October 31st, taking place every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Police Services Center on 3410 Amnicola Highway.

This FREE academy offers residents a behind-the-scenes look at the operations and training of the department.

Participants will experience immersive driving simulators and live demonstrations of K9 handling, gaining a deeper understanding of the crucial work police officers perform daily.

Those interested in participating can download and complete the application here.

Once completed, applications can be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at the Police Services Center.
