Havoc: State feeling weather’s wrath
We thought we had seen the destructive power of Mother Nature when a tornado ripped through Arkwright and Hanover a couple of weeks ago. Winds reached 110 miles an hour, but damage was largely limited to minor roof and tree damage along Henry Road in Arkwright; tree damage along Putnam, Zahm, and Bradigah Roads; and significant roofing damage on Gage Road. The damage is life-changing for those whose homes were damaged by the tornados.

Chautauqua County Grand Jury Indicts Buffalo Man for Murder in Jamestown
(WNY News Now) – Mayville – Chautauqua County District Attorney Jason Schmidt announced today that 33 year old Darius Kadenhead of Buffalo, New York was indicted by a Grand Jury and arraigned yesterday, July 16th, in Chautauqua County Court on a charge of Murder in the Second Degree arising from the shooting death of Marlon Clay which occurred on January 22nd at the Parkview Apartments in Jamestown. Bail was set by Hon. David W. Foley at $2.5 million cash, or in the alternative, $5 million property bond or $10 million secured by the posting of 10%.
