Art show coming to Cheboygan Carnegie

CHEBOYGAN — The work of three talented artists will be on display at the Cheboygan Carnegie next month as part of the Three Visions Art Show.

The show will be available to view from 12-8 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 and from 12-4 p.m. on Sunday, July 14. Attendees will be able to meet the artists, see their work and explore commission opportunities.

The artists include:

• MarySue Ryan: Ryan works in mixed media and has an Impressionistic style. In addition to painting, MarySue is also an award-winning photographer. Formerly specializing in commissions, this is her first Cheboygan showing.
• Judy Gray: Gray is a watercolorist. She takes inspiration from natural landscapes around her and is educated in the biological sciences. From Cheboygan, she has painted several picturesque Cheboygan business facades, including Cheboygan Coffee Roasters and Nauti Inn.
• Eldon Kohler: Kohler is a jewelry designer, artist and educator. With a background in machining and industrial fabrication, plus study of Japanese art, architecture and metalwork, Kohler uses small fine engraving tools in his jewelry creation. He is a lapidarist, goldsmith and silversmith, and uses many gemstones in his jewelry.

The Cheboygan Carnegie is located at 400 W. Elm St.
