CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The U.S. Drought Monitor reports that as of Tuesday, 37% of Virginia is experiencing severe drought, with 11% in extreme drought. Albemarle, Greene, and Madison counties are among those in severe drought. Rockingham, Shenandoah, Augusta, Page, Warren, and Frederick counties are facing extreme drought conditions.
