Wenatchee Rabbi/Pastor Sentenced to 14 Months For Assault
A 50-year-old messianic rabbi from Dryden has been given a 14-month prison sentence after being found guilty by a jury in Chelan County of assault against his former partner. Isaac David Heckman was sentenced Wednesday by Superior Court Judge Travis Brandt after a jury convicted him of two counts of 2nd Degree Assault, one for Substantial Bodily Harm and the other for Strangulation.

WENATCHEE—The Columbia River Drug Task Force (CRDTF) acquired $150,000 in grant funding from the Washington State Department of Commerce. The grant was allocated following a direct Ellensburg address from the CRDTF and other drug task forces across the state centered on the criticality of funding for drug task forces.
Wenatchee messianic leader sentenced to 14 months in prison
WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee-based faith leader convicted of physically abusing his girlfriend was sentenced Wednesday to 14 months in prison. Isaac David Heckman, 50, was found guilty of two out of three counts of second-degree assault by a jury in Chelan County Superior Court. Heckman is the pastor of the Assembly of Called-Out Believers, a messianic congregation.
Pioneer Fire grows to 25,500 acres, trails closed
STEHEKIN — Level 3 evacuations were expanded north toward Stehekin and more trails were closed this week as the Pioneer Fire continues to grow. The Level 3 zone — the most urgent of evacuation levels — ends less than a half-mile from the remote community at the west end of Lake Chelan and includes at least three structures, according to Chelan County’s emergency evacuation map.
