DRYDEN– Chelan County Fire District 6 worked alongside a team of local fire agencies to contain an actively spreading house fire in the North Dryden Road area. Reports of the fire initially appeared around 9:45 p.m. on July 25 as flames quickly spread throughout a Dryden home and garage in the 6600 block of North Dryden Road, east of the Peshastin Pinnacles.

This Washington Fire Year Really Isn’t Easy!
Current Situation: The Easy Fire is burning through dense timber, dead trees, and ground vegetation on very steep terrain. Activity near State Route 20 has moderated, but there is still fire within the north and south sides of the perimeter. Firefighters, in collaboration with the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT), have been clearing debris and fallen trees from the highway. The Pioneer fire burning on the north shore of Lake Chelan has grown by almost 1,000 acres in the last two days.
