Through June 1, the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed 310 juvenile felony offenses, with cases involving victims and weapons. In some of those cases, guns were used in deadly shootings.

7/26 UPDATE -- The Klamath County Sheriff's Office announced the discovery of Paul Flores' vehicle on Friday. Flores' vehicle was found on a forest service road by deputies on July 26. The road is north of Chemult, Oregon in Klamath County. His current whereabouts remain unknown as deputies investigate. Wenatchee Area Unemployment Report Shows Slowing Job Growth
The latest jobless numbers show the unemployment rate has dipped to just below 4 percent in the most recently reported month of June in Chelan and Douglas counties. The number is still more than half a point higher than the unemployment rate from a year ago. The 3.9% unemployment rate this June was six-tenths of a point above the 3.3% rate in June 2023.
Cashmere Man Accused of Two Week Forgery, Indentity Theft Spree
A 24-year-old Cashmere man faces numerous charges after being tracked down and arrested by the Columbia River Drug Task Force. Thrive Chelan Valley to open new teen center in Manson this fall
MANSON—Thrive Chelan Valley will open a new teen center in Manson this fall, expanding its mission to serve, empower, and advocate for all youth in the Lake Chelan Valley. Thrive, a nonprofit organization, has operated a teen center in Chelan since 1999. Thrive executive director Stefani Morgan said the new center in Manson will offer the same resources and support as the Chelan location.
