Cheltenham Township, PA – A two-year-old has lost an arm after being struck by a falling tree branch.

“The Philadelphia Inquirer” reports the toddler was playing with other children on the 79-hundred block of chandler road in Cheltenham Township when a branch overhead detached and fell 50 feet.

The child was then flown to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The incident appears to be an accident, but detectives said the investigation is ongoing and ask any witnesses or people with information to reach out.
