Free Car Seat Checks in Chemung County on June 30th
BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Free car seats checks are happening in Big Flats on Sunday. The checks are taking place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Sam's Club on County Route 64 in Big Flats. Put on by the Governor's Office, the checks are part of a year-round safety initiative. Trained technicians teach parents and caregivers about how to choose and properly install the right seat for their child's age and size and their vehicle.
