Mount Upton Man Charged After Children Found Left in Hot Vehicle
A Chenango County man is facing several charges after state police say he left two children in a hot vehicle in Oneonta. State police say on June 19th, around 3 p.m., troopers were dispatched to a report of children locked inside a hot vehicle and screaming in a Walmart parking lot on State Highway 23. Two children were found in the vehicle, showing signs of distress from the heat. The vehicle was running, with barely any air-conditioning and there was no adult around.
