Two arrested after traffic stop in Cherokee County sparks chase, ends in Georgia
CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — Two people were arrested after a traffic stop in Cherokee County led to a chase that ended in Georgia Monday. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said 43-year-old Waylon Dale Epps, of Gaylesville, and 34-year-old Ashley Sheree Spivey, of Armuchee, face multiple charges following the incident.
One Hurt in Cherokee County Wreck Near Georgia State Line
One person was hurt, in a two-vehicle accident in Cherokee County early Friday. The accident occurred at 8:30am on Highway 411, near the Georgia State line and it involved both a 2000 Ford, being driven by a male from Rome, Georgia and a 2014 Dodge, being driven by a male from Centre.
