Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services has announced that two firefighters have earned promotions due to their hard work and commitment to public safety.

The promotion ceremony took place Sept. 24 at the Cherokee County Fire Training Complex in Holly Springs.

Sgt. Brandon Barton was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and Lt. Jordan Allred was promoted to captain.

Fire Chief Eddie Robinson expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the families and friends present, acknowledging their support and sacrifices that enable these firefighters to serve the residents and visitors of Cherokee County.

He also paid tribute to public safety retirees and veterans in attendance, recognizing their contributions to both the department and the nation.

“Today, we celebrate not only the accomplishments of these individuals but also the support systems that have helped them reach this milestone,” Robinson said. “Their promotions are a testament to their commitment to our community and the values we uphold at CCFES.”
