Two Injured in Towne Lake Parkway Crash
Authorities are investigating a crash that occurred on Towne Lake Parkway Friday, the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office reports. According to the sheriff’s office, a car and a motorcycle crashed at about 11:20 a.m. Friday under the Interstate 575 overpass in Woodstock. Both the car driver and the motorcyclist had injuries that were not life-threatening, and the motorcyclist was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Two eastbound lanes on Towne Lake Parkway were closed; traffic was directed through a turning lane while deputies responded to the crash, the CSO reported. The road was reopened at about 12:20 p.m. The case remains under investigation.
