Unique Dining Concept Bringing Science and Sushi to Cherry Hill

The New Jersey dining scene is about to get an infusion of futuristic whimsy. Popular chain Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is preparing to brings it conveyor belts and robotics to Cherry Hill later this year, reports local media outlet 42 Freeway .

The unique concept has signed a lease for 2000 Route 70 W, building E in the Marketplace at Garden State Park complex. Kura Revolving Sushi Bar hopes to begin serving customers this autumn.

Kura Revolving Sushi provides visitors with a full dining experience, anchored by delicious, fresh food and enhanced by its unusual conveyor belt delivery method. Guests can savor sushi, dumplings, fried rice, and noodle dishes, while enjoying the restaurant’s various futuristic touches. In addition to the vast conveyor belts, Kura has touch-screen tablets at each table for visitors who prefer to order their food instead of selecting cuisine from the plates cycling past.

The tablets also provide table-side entertainment. Animations play on the screen, and prizes are delivered for every 15th plate returned to the kitchen.

Kura Sushi developed its first restaurant in 1977. The brand has a massive presence across Japan, Taiwan, and the United States. The concept has more than 500 locations and continues to grow.
