Arkansas vs. UAPB HawgSports Staff Predictions
BET SARACEN LINE: Arkansas -48.5. UAPB competes in a lower classification on the FCS level and finished just 1-7 last season in the historic Southwest Athletic Conference (SWAC). Alonzo Hampton — a former University of Arkansas defensive analyst (2019) — is in his second year at the program. The Warren (Ark.) native was also an assistant coach at Louisiana-Monroe when the Hogs stomped the Golden Lions 45-0 in the first half of the 2021 meeting before taking a 45-3 win with a running second-half clock. The only question in this one is, if the clock runs again in the second half, can Arkansas cover Bet Saracen's 48.5-point betting line? They could, but I think they'll show a little mercy. SCORE: 49-10, Arkansas | RECORD: 1-0 (0-0 SEC)
