Women’s Tennis Has Four Named ITA Scholar-Athletes; Team Earns All-Academic Honors
ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick College Women's Tennis team was recognized as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team. In addition, four members of the team were named ITA Scholar Athletes. In order to qualify as an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have at least a 3.2 average cumulative GPA for the academic year. Individual Scholar-Athlete winners must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA for the current academic year.
Utica Police Arrest a Man for Threatening Juveniles with a Weapon
Utica Police have announced another arrest involving an illegal weapon and a group of juveniles. What started as a fight ended with an individual facing several charges. Police officials announced that officers responded to the scene of a fight that had broken out on the 1200 block of Seymour Avenue on July 23rd, 2024. OHIO- A domestic dispute in Herkimer County has resulted in a criminal mischief charge filed against a local resident, authorities say. Brian K. Jones, 53, of Newport, NY was arrested Wednesday by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Jones is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief in the fourth-degree.
