New Hope for Old McDonald’s Restaurant in Endwell
Some recent signs of activity outside a closed McDonald's restaurant in Endwell have residents wondering whether a new business will be opening at the site. The fast food operation at 3333 East Main Street closed suddenly 18 months ago. McDonald's representatives did not say why the place was shut down 23 years after it opened at the site of the old Hooper School.

Lincoln, N.Y. — One woman has been killed and a man seriously injured when a house exploded Wednesday night in the town of Lincoln in Madison County. The explosion was at 4621 Burleson Road, Samantha Field, a spokesperson for the county confirmed. The blast was reported at 6:40 p.m., she said.
Community Foundation Rome Victim Recovery Fund Applications Now Being Accepted
The road to recovery is still a long one for the victims of last weeks devastating tornado that touched down in the City of Rome. The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties in conjunction with Oneida County has set up a fund specifically designated to provide assistance to those impacted and in the greatest need.
