BIDDEFORD -- A Maine State Trooper was hospitalized Saturday after police say his vehicle was struck by another vehicle during a traffic stop. A Maine State Police spokesperson says Trooper Patrick Flanagan was on a traffic stop at mile marker 32 southbound on the turnpike in Biddeford when his cruiser was rear-ended by another vehicle.

Bar Harbor Food Pantry’s Fill the Criterion July 24
The Bar Harbor Food Pantry in conjunction with The Criterion Theatre are hoping that you will fill the Criterion with food this Wednesday, July 24th from 2 to 4 p.m. Food may be dropped off from 2-4 p.m. Any financial contributions will be matched by the Witham Family Charitable Trust up to $50,000 and will be devoted to the pantry's relocation to their new location at 34 Kennebec Place.
