Scattered showers possible today, but lower temperatures and dry conditions on the way
Temperatures are expected to drop, and many places will remain dry through the weekend. The National Weather Service says there’s a 20-30% chance of scattered showers and storms across mid-Missouri today. In southern Missouri, there is a marginal risk for severe storms with large hail and damaging wind gusts. Those storms are expected to be south of the Lebanon area.
Summersville 5-0 With Rain Shortened Win Thursday
The Summersville Lady Wildcats are 5-0 on the softball season following their 7-5 win over OLMC yesterday in a game called after the top of the 5th inning due to rain. With the game tied at 4 in the fourth, Summersville opened up the game with 3 runs in the bottom of the inning. Britta Rohrback was great going 2-3 with 3 RBI including a home run at the plate, and then in the circle she got the win allowing just 3 hits and striking out 10. Colie Davis and Elaina Schulte drove in a run each for the Lady Wildcats.

Iowa Woman Injured After Jumping From Boat – Driver Faces BWI Charges
One person is seriously hurt after jumping from the boat she was in, then getting hit by the boat and then swimming to shore. The water patrol division of the highway patrol says it happened around 11:50 Wednesday night at the 5.2-mile marker of the Osage Arm in Camden County.
