Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites Unveils 37th Annual Blueberry Festival & Market To Go Entertainment Schedule
BETHLEHEM, Pa. (July 3, 2024)—Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS) is preparing for the sweetest summer weekend. This year’s Blueberry Festival will occur on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14, at Bethlehem’s Burnside Colonial Farm. New this year is the Blueberry Tavern, which features ticketed tastings and full-size pours from Lehigh Valley-based brewers and distillers.

PennDOT set to begin first stage of I-78 Lenhartsville Bridge Replacement Project
GREENWICH TWP., Pa. - PennDOT officials announced Friday that pre-construction activities for the I-78 Lenhartsville Bridge Replacement Project are set to begin. On or about Monday, July 8th, the project's contractors, Bridging Pennsylvania Constructors (BPC) and Major Bridge Subcontractor’s H&K Group, will begin the first of five main construction stages of for the replacement and widening of the existing I-78 bridge over Maiden Creek and PA-143.

One person is dead and eight others were injured in a drive-by shooting on the Fourth of July during what officials are calling a "pop-up event" in Southwest Philadelphia.Police say the nine victims, including three juveniles and six adults, were shot near the intersection of 60th Street and Kingsessing Ave. around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.Police said they believe a vehicle pulled up and someone inside began firing at the crowd.
