Could Tanner Scofield return to DOOL?

If I remember correctly, Tanner Scofiled's (Michael Easton) father owned the Spectator before Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford) purchased half of the newspaper on Days of Our Lives. Jack has just had his half returned by Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), which has some Virginia fans trying to connect the dots.

Easton was recently let go from his role as Dr. Hamilton Finn on General Hospital. Soaps. In Depth says he was asked if he would return to DOOL. Tanner left in 1992, but the Peacok soap had Steve Burton return as Harris Michaels, who was only on the soap briefly in 1988.

Perhaps Days of Our Lives execs will read the ID story and consider bringing Scofiled back now that Michaels is gone. Watch for updates on what happens next for Michael Easton and the final fate of his GH character, who has not yet been given closure.
