Veteran actor leaves memories for fans

TMZ reports that veteran actor John Aprea passed away on August 7 with his family by his side. Virginia fan Mike D recalls his role as a young Salvatore Tessio in Godfather II and as the father of John Stamos's character Uncle Jesse on Full House.

Soap fans in the Commonwealth recall that Aprea portrayed two characters on Another World. Beryl J. says that as Lucas Castigliano, he was the most handsome love interest for Felicia Gallant (Linda Dano), while Liza P. said she loved him as Bay City character Alexander Nikos.

Beth L says she remembers Aprea from Another World and portrays Manny Vasquez on Knots Landing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Aprea died from natural causes.
