Fans say Budig is too youthful-looking

Soap fans often have trouble adjusting to recasts, but The Bold and the Beautiful viewers have been over the top regarding Taylor Hayes's recasting. TV Line reports that those who watch B&B say Rebecca Budig is too young for the role and looks like Steffy Forrester's (Jackie Wood) sister rather than her mother.

In real-time, Budig is a young-looking 51, and Wood is 37, so there is only a 14-year age difference between them. Zyesha B. from Central Virginia says that not only is Budig too youthful-looking, but her hair color is too light for this character.
