Chesapeake-based charity seeks donations for cleaning supplies, paper goods

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A Chesapeake-based charity is asking for the public’s help in getting supplies on the shelves.

In a Facebook post , ForKids said they have run out of cleaning supplies and paper goods, stating they desperately need help in order to get families leaving the shelter the basics they need for their new homes.

Some of the supplies ForKids stated they need include cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper and laundry pods.

Those who are interested in donating will be able to drop off supplies at either their Chesapeake location at 1001 Poindexter Street or at their Suffolk location at 119 West Constance Road. There is also an option to buy needed items from ForKid’s Amazon wish list here .
