WILLISTOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Chester County are trying to find a man accused of knocking on windows and doors and exposing himself to residents in the middle of the night.

Willistown Township police released doorbell images of the suspicious person. His alarming behavior occurred during the overnight hours on July 17 and 18 in the area of Paoli Pike and Fairview Road, police said.

He was wearing a backward baseball cap, a Stan Ray shirt, and shorts — all with store security tags still attached, police said.

“He seemed to have no regard for the cameras, the motion sensors,” said Det. Sgt. Stephen Jones. “We have reports of barking dogs in the area. He was undeterred.

“And the disturbing thing is in one of these videos, he’s actually seen exposing himself and engaged in a lewd act.”

The man was also carrying a pickleball bag at some point. Jones believes it may have been stolen from a local store or someone’s home.

The man was not able to get into any of the homes. Jones reminded residents to lock their doors at night and follow up with anything that appears on home security cameras.

“I can’t say that he’s from out of town,” Jones added. “But at this point, I would say if he was local, I would assume a resident would have recognized him. But somebody out there absolutely knows who this gentleman is.”

Residents with more information about this person or those with additional surveillance footage are asked to call Willistown Township detectives at 610-251-0222 or an officer at 610-647-1440.
