Police: Local woman arrested for attacking, attempting to bribe officers
POCATELLO — A 21-year-old woman was recently arrested after police say she attacked officers and then tried to bribe them after they attempted to place her in protective custody for being too intoxicated. Structures, Livestock Lost as Wildfire in South-Central Idaho Nears 200,000 Acres
The wildfire burning north of Emmett has slowed its growth rate but is still expanding. The Paddock fire has burned more than 187,000 acres and was 31% contained as of Tuesday morning. The blaze was ignited by lightning on Monday, Aug. 5, and is expected to grow “as crews continue to monitor and improve established perimeters.”
