    West Virginia woman accused of stealing over $219K from a business

    HANCOCK COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) — A Chester, West Virginia woman was arrested on warrants from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office after being charged with 56 counts of Embezzlement.

    According to officials in March 2024 Smith Oil Inc, out of New Cumberland, filed a complaint for stolen money from the business totaling $219,191.63

    Officials say Jessica Marie Cremeans was arraigned and is currently being held at the West Virginia Northern Regional Jail on $40,000 bond.

    A court date has not yet been determined.
