County Health Department Reminds Residents to Remove Standing Water and Use Repellents. The Westchester County Health Department announced that this season’s first batches of mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus in Westchester were found in Croton, Mount Vernon, Rye, White Plains and Yonkers. The Health Department will inspect areas surrounding the positive mosquito batches and if needed, treat any nearby catch basins that hold standing water to protect against further mosquito breeding nearby.

Ohio brewery sues Pennsylvania over 'protectionist' rules that limit beer sales
A Cincinnati-based brewery is taking aim at Pennsylvania's alcohol regulations. Urban Artifact, a 9-year-old brewery that specializes in fruit-infused beers, filed a federal lawsuit earlier this month alleging that Pennsylvania uses unfair barriers to restrict sales from companies that aren't located in the commonwealth.
