Duluth man found guilty of 19-year-old woman's 2022 murder in Flowery Branch
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A Gwinnett County jury convicted a Duluth man for fatally stabbing a 19-year-old woman after a dispute over money. Timothy James Krueger, 51, was found guilty Friday of malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault for the June 16, 2022, stabbing death of Sarai Llanos Gomez. The jury deliberated for two hours before returning a verdict.
Hall County man honored by first responders for help during February arson investigation
A Hall County man was honored by members of the county’s Fire Marshal’s Office, Hall County Fire Rescue and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office for assistance during a February arson arrest.
Gainesville Man Arrested in Walhalla on Multiple Charges, Bond Denied for Several Offenses
Jose Guadalupe Chirino Salinas, 54, from Gainesville, GA, was arrested by Walhalla Police on Sunday night, August 25, on multiple charges including criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Bond was denied for these charges as well as for possession of a weapon by certain persons and pointing and presenting firearms. A total of $930 in surety bond was set for other charges, including unlawful use of a license and giving false information. Salinas remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center.
