Town of Ramapo and Spring Valley Officials Meet to Move Forward and Finalize Plans for Union Road, Elm Street, and Anthony Drive Intersection Improvements
In a continued effort to improve traffic safety and efficiency in Ramapo, local officials met today to discuss actionable steps for addressing ongoing concerns at the intersection of Union Road, Elm Street, and Anthony Drive. The meeting, hosted by Town Of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht and Ramapo Chief Of Staff Mona Montel, was attended Spring Valley Deputy Mayor Yisroel Eisenbach, Spring Valley Trustee Asher Grossman, Ramapo Highway Superintendent Fred Brinn, Ramapo Police Chief Dan Hyman, Ramapo Police Lieutenant Blaine Howell, and Ramapo Police Sergeant Christopher Rogers, was marked by a productive exchange of ideas and a commitment to swift action.

Shots fired during NJ high school football game, school says
Two people were hurt after gunfire rang out at a high school football game in New Jersey.Students ran around frantically as police rushed to the football field at the conclusion of Friday night's game between Lenape High School and Passaic Technical Institute in Wayne.One witness tells Eyewitness News that she saw two shooting victims.
