Bullpen Blows It In the Burgh
The MLB All-Star break is officially over. The second half of the 2024 MLB season is underway, with the Phillies heading to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates. The Phillies open the second half of the season after setting a franchise record with 62 wins before the All-Star break. It was previously 57 in 2011 and 1993. The Phillies became only the 10th MLB team in history with 62+ wins before the break and only the fourth National League to do so. They do not add another “W” to the win column tonight. The pitching was not good, especially the back. The bullpen blows it in the burgh on Friday night.
Weather alert for fog in part of Pennsylvania until Sunday morning
A weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 5:02 a.m. for fog until 9 a.m. for Northern Clinton, Northern Centre, Southern Centre, Northern Lycoming, Southern Clinton and Southern Lycoming as well as Blair, Huntingdon, Bedford, Fulton, Franklin, Sullivan, Union, Snyder, Montour, Northumberland, Columbia, Perry and Cumberland counties.

There's a new outlook for local pharmacies throughout Pennsylvania.Governor Josh Shapiro has signed legislation that aims to save those businesses from closing.Since January, more than 140 pharmacies across the state have shut down.An investigation showed the issue is the "pharmacy benefits manager," who plays the middleman for insurance companies and the pharmacies themselves.The legislation aims to provide more transparency for the job, while saving money in the process.
