Nebraska Game and Parks Commission members will consider allowing mountain lion hunting in the central Panhandle when they meet Friday in Ogallala. The agenda for the 8 a.m. MT meeting at the Petrified Wood Gallery, 418 E. First St., includes creation of a mountain lion “Wildcat Hills Unit” covering parts of Scotts Bluff, Morrill, Cheyenne, Garden, Kimball and Banner counties on both sides of the North Platte River.
