CHEYENNE — Cheyenne’s AI mayoral candidate has garnered national attention due to its novelty in the political realm. Reporters from the likes of CNN, NBC and USA Today have connected with Victor Miller, the “meat avatar” running for mayor with the campaign promise of running all decisions by AI.

These reports caught attention outside the United States, as well, as two Japanese broadcast companies, Nippon TV and NHK, sent crews from Los Angeles to meet Miller and chat with VIC, or Virtual Integrated Citizen, the other half of the candidacy. Representatives from both news stations said Friday that the trip to the Cowboy State has been well worth it, as they have spent time during the day exploring the town and chatting with people on the street about their mayoral election.
