CHEYENNE — Growing older doesn’t have to mean you can no longer be active. The Wyoming Senior Olympics offers seniors the opportunity to stay involved with the community and keep up with their athletic passions to maintain their health and well-being.

WSO is an open-state nonprofit that holds two large Olympic-style events every year — one in the winter and one in the summer. These two events are held in various cities all over Wyoming each year and feature 26 different sporting activities that people 50 and older can participate in. This year’s Summer Olympics will be held in Cheyenne from July 31 through Aug. 4.
