According to a recent permit filing, Beity will soon open its doors in Fulton Market at 813 W Fulton Market.

A representative of Beity was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Chicago’s request.

According to an article from the Chicago Eater written in March of 2023, Beity was slated to open sometime in the summer.

“Beity, the first venture from 25-year-old Ryan Fakih, spotlights the nuances of Lebanese cuisine which the chef says is a genre often lumped in with little fanfare under a banner of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food. Beity provides Fakih a platform to challenge diners and demonstrate the French cooking techniques he learned as a student at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.”

“Fakih aims to set Beity apart with a more formal dinner menu, with a la carte options such as shish barak, Lebanese meat dumplings with garlic yogurt sauce, and pistachio-crusted lamb with honey-glazed cumin carrots and date sauce. He’ll also offer brunch options like an ample Lebanese mezze breakfast (soft-scrambled eggs, labneh, grilled halloumi, fava bean, olives, mint, tea), traditional manakish (flatbread with akawi cheese and/or za’atar), and viennoiseries.”

Beity’s company website states, “Beity is a canvas where Chef Ryan Fakih’s childhood and culinary expertise come to life. An innovative approach to Lebanese-inspired gastronomy, where you can find homeyness as well as flavors that will provoke your sense of wonder.”

“Guests can enjoy choices between multi-sensory tasting menus on Friday and Saturday or a more relaxed dining menu Monday through Thursday. As well as drinks and small bites at the bar throughout our operating days.”

“Whether you’re looking for comfort or excitement, the journey you wish to take with us is in your hands! Make sure to try our list of Lebanese and French-inspired cocktails and wine, crafted by our lead mixologist.”
