    White Sox cut 12 from spring training roster

    (670 The Score) The White Sox on Friday cut a dozen players from their spring training roster.

    Outfielder Oscar Colas, right-hander Davis Martin, left-hander Sammy Peralta and infielder Jose Rodríguez were optioned to Triple-A Charlotte. Right-hander Josimar Cousin and left-hander Jake Eder were optioned to Double-A Birmingham. Left-hander Ky Bush, left-hander Fraser Ellard, catcher Adam Hackenberg, right-hander Edgar Navarro, catcher Edgar Quero and right-hander Lane Ramsey were assigned to minor-league camp.

    The White Sox now have 58 players remaining in their spring training camp —30 pitchers, five catchers, 12 infielders and 11 outfielders.
