(670 The Score) The Bears are making a major addition to their offense, as acquiring six-time Pro Bowl receiver Keenan Allen in a trade with the Chargers, multiple sources said Thursday night. The deal will be official pending completion of a physical.

The Bears will send a fourth-round pick back to the Chargers in the deal, which was first reported by Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. The selection is pick No. 110 overall in the fourth round.

The Bears confirmed their acquisition late Thursday night.

"We're extremely excited to add Keenan to our team," Bears general manager Ryan Poles said. "His body of work speaks for itself and we look forward to him elevating our offense."

Allen, 31, has played 11 NFL seasons, all with the Chargers. He has 904 receptions for 10,530 yards and 59 touchdowns in 139 career games. Allen had 108 receptions for 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games in 2023, which marked the fifth time in the last seven years that he had 100 or more receptions in a season.

Allen is 26th on the NFL's all-time receptions leaderboard. His career receiving yards total would be more than double the Bears' all-time franchise leader, Johnny Morris, who played from 1958-'67.

The Bears will pair Allen alongside top target DJ Moore, who had 96 receptions for 1,364 yards and eight scores last season.

The Bears have just four selections in the 2024 NFL Draft: Nos. 1 and 9 overall in the first round, in addition to pick No. 75 in the third round and No. 122 in the fourth round.
