CHICAGO (670 The Score) – Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu has been cleared to play in his team’s matchup against the Hawks on Wednesday night in the NBA play-in tournament, while center Andre Drummond is a game-time decision, coach Billy Donovan said.

Dosunmu missed the final four games of the regular season due to a right quad contusion and had been listed as questionable for Wednesday. Drummond missed the final three games of the regular season with a left ankle sprain and had also been listed as questionable.

Dosunmu has no minutes restriction, and Donovan added he’ll be comfortable playing him even as he comes off his injury.

Both players had significant roles in this matchup as the Bulls went 2-1 against the Hawks in the regular season. Dosunmu averaged 21.0 points on 55.6% shooting in three games against Atlanta while also playing a key role defensively in slowing down Hawks star point guard Trae Young.

Drummond averaged 14.7 points and 18.0 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per game in three contests against the Hawks this season.

The winner of the Bulls-Hawks game will advance to face the loser of the 76ers-Heat game. That matchup will take place Friday, with the winner earning the No. 8 seed and a matchup against the top-seeded Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.
