(670 The Score) The White Sox have activated starting pitcher Mike Clevinger, who will make his season debut Monday night for the opener of a series with the Rays in Tampa Bay.

Clevinger officially signed with the White Sox on April 4. He logged a 3.77 ERA over 24 starts with the White Sox last season. The 33-year-old Clevinger has a career 3.44 ERA over seven years in the majors.

The White Sox placed relief pitcher Dominic Leone on the injured list with lower back tightness, which cleared a roster spot for Clevinger. Leone has a 6.75 ERA over 17 appearances this season.

The White Sox and Rays open their three-game series Monday night with first pitch scheduled for 5:50 p.m. CT from Tropicana Field.
