Pete Crow-Armstrong is playing really good baseball right now. Following a week with three home runs, four doubles, five multi-hit games, and 10 runs scored, PCA has been named the Triple-A International League Player of the Week.

Following his return to Iowa, Crow-Armstrong has been a man on a mission. A .444/.500/.926 slash line shows the electric outfielder's skill. It also appears he is ready to return to the majors and make an impact, especially since the Chicago Cubs' bats have struggled since mid-May.

Iowa begins a new series on Tuesday with the Louisville Bats in Louisville. If Crow-Armstrong can replicate his performance from last week, more accolades and another call up to the majors could be in the cards.

    Cubs Injury Updates

As the Iowa Cubs get their six-game set started with Louisville, there are a pair of big-league arms set to pitch in rehab action. LHP Jordan Wicks is starting for the Iowa Cubs on Tuesday and RHP Daniel Palencia is expected to throw on Tuesday as well.

Wicks has been on the IL since April 28 when he was scratched from his scheduled start. Wicks has been dealing with a forearm injury, and the Cubs are not rushing him back. However, a strong outing from Wicks on Tuesday could set him up for a return as the calendar turns to June.

As for Palencia, he's been on the IL since May 7 and was sent on a rehab assignment with Iowa back on May 18. Tuesday feels like another chance for Palencia to show he's ready to return, marking a possible return to the majors in the coming days. Palencia has largely struggled this season, but his high velocity makes him an appealing arm to have in the Cubs' bullpen.
