The Chicago White Sox made a series of roster moves before Wednesday's game against the Settle Mariners. With Andrew Benintendi returning to the outfield mix , Duke Ellis heads to Triple-A Charlotte. On the pitching front, Steven Wilson is back from his rehab assignment and Tim Hill has been designated for assignment.

A back strain resulted in Wilson heading to the 15-day injured list on May 22 (retroactive to May 20). Acquired in the Dylan Cease trade, Wilson notched a 2.84 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 19 innings before going on the shelf.

Hill joined the White Sox in the offseason on a one-year, $1.8 million deal. The side-arming southpaw struggled to the tune of a 5.87 ERA and 2.217 WHIP in 23 innings to begin the season with Chicago.
