On the latest episode of '1920 Football Drive', Chicago Bears' GM Ryan Poles reacts to one of the picks in the NFL Draft. Things worked out as they hoped, with the Bears taking WR Rome Odunze at No. 9 to pair with Caleb Williams.

Will Chicago Bears fans ever see another championship-caliber team? In recent decades, fans have paid an incredible amount of dollars to attend games at Soldier Field, and for what? A mediocre team in an outdated stadium with no real shot at a Super Bowl doesn't justify the price tag.

Now the Bears are turning the ship around with General Manager Ryan Poles' vision. He rebuilt the roster in three years, selected a franchise quarterback in Caleb Williams, and put pieces around the USC star to create a winning culture. The new roster hasn't seen an NFL down yet but the future looks bright.

Bears Ticket Prices Warrant A Better Product

According to Bookies.com , the Chicago Bears had the 12th-highest cost to attend games in 2023. With the cheapest four-ticket package just a hair over $600 and food and beverage adding about another $100, fans should expect more out of this historic franchise.

The last time Bears fans could reasonably expect greatness out of their favorite football squad was in 2010. Jay Cutler was a gunslinger and Lovie Smith had this team ready to rock at a moment's notice. But the season ended in horrible fashion to the rival Green Bay Packers and since then, Chicago hasn't had much hope.

Why then do we consistently pay exorbitant amounts of cash to watch this team lose games? Previous front-office regimes tried to manifest success at the expense of fans' sanity — the Mitchell Trubisky fiasco — and yet, we still drag our feet to Soldier Field on Sunday mornings come September.

The bottom line is this: Chicago Bears fans deserve a winning organization, especially while they're footing the bill. Suppose Matt Eberflus, Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze, and so many more can bring a championship back to the great city of Chicago. In that case, fans will pay whatever they're forced to en route to the parade on Michigan Avenue.
