    Puppy yoga expanding in Chicago

A new fitness and wellness center that includes puppy cuddles has arrived in the Chi.

The big picture: Puppysphere , a fitness startup founded in Toronto by Francesca Albo and Lea Burbidge, allows guests to prioritize their mental and physical health while interacting with a litter of puppies.

What to expect: A therapeutic 45-minute flow yoga session followed by 30 minutes of puppy playtime while sipping on bottomless mimosas.

What they're saying: "Spending time with animals is truly therapeutic. It has been shown to reduce stress levels by boosting oxytocin, serotonin and dopamine," Albo said.

    • "When people socialize with the puppies at our events, it helps them grow into happier and more confident pups. Our staff help facilitate these positive interactions."

If you go: Puppysphere is located at 1105 W. Chicago Ave.

    • Classes are available from 10am to 4pm Saturdays and Sundays.
    • Prices start at $60.
