1. 🏳️🌈 Chicago Pride Parade
Join thousands in celebrating Pride with a parade from Northalsted to Lincoln Park.
Why it matters: For over 50 years , this procession has been commemorating New York City's Stonewall uprising, which ignited the fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
The intrigue: Mayor Brandon Johnson announced plans to scale back this year's festivities, to the dismay of LGBTQ+ groups who got some elements restored.
- The parade will step off an hour earlier and the number of floats has been cut from 199 to 150.
Grand marshals for the parade include comedian Fortune Feimster, Sidetrack owner Art Johnson and high-profile transgender couple Myles and Precious Brady-Davis.

2. 🎸 The Rolling Stones
- The legendary rock band, fronted by 80-year-old Mick Jagger, will bring its 47th tour to Soldier Field for two shows. Tickets start at $85

- This annual 14-mile cruise rolls through the city from 6pm to midnight Saturday as a promotion of body positivity and a protest against car pollution. Free
