With NBA free agency already underway, the Chicago Bulls are still pursuing a move on the trade market that will shift the moment of their offseason plans. That move is trading guard Zach LaVine. Around the trade deadline, LaVine made it clear he wanted out of Chicago. Talks halted when he sustained an injury that sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

So far this offseason there has been minimal traction with LaVine but the Bulls have been shoPping. According to a new report by Chris Haynes the Bulls made an offer to the Golden State Warriors for Zach LaVine. The return the Bulls were looking for was Chris Paul and Andrew Wiggins. Not only did the Warriors reject the offer, but they waived Chris Paul hours later.

Will the Bulls Ever Move LaVine?

With the way the market is shaping up, the league doesn't value LaVine. The Bulls have repeatedly made offers and they've been rejected. NBA experts even say attaching a first-rounder to him may not get the job done. There were rumors involving the Sacramento Kings but still nothing has come to fruition.

LaVine's injury history and his overall attitude to cut ties with the Bulls could be what is holding teams up. LaVine isn't a number one offensive option and at a max salary, NBA teams don't want to invest that much into their secondary option. If things don't work out this offseason, the Bulls will have to wait until closer to the trade deadline to see if a contending team will use LaVine to make the reach.
