Country star Lainey Wilson had the “honor” of performing with the legendary Rolling Stones over the weekend, and it was a “treat” for both her and the audience.
The iconic band had Lainey join them for a duet of Dead Flowers during their June 30th concert at Soldier Field in Chicago. This was the second time The Rolling Stones called on a country star to help them sing the Southern rock classic. On June 3rd, Tyler Childers dueted with them in Orlando, FL.
Frontman Mick Jagger kicked off the song by singing the first verse. Lainey offered harmony for the chorus and took over for the second verse. Both singers donned black cowboy hats, and Lainey completed her look with a varsity jacket bedazzled chaps.
“That is a moment she will never forget!” a fan wrote under a YouTube video, and they were right. Shortly after the performance, Lainey hopped on social media to admit that the experience was a milestone moment for her.
