The Chicago Sky recently went on the road to face the Atlanta Dream, looking to snap a two-game losing streak. Chicago came away with the 85-77 victory, sparking momentum for the Sky. While the victory was seen as the main storyline, rookie Kamilla Cardoso also shared a genuine interaction with Dream veteran Tina Charles that had fans buzzing online.

Charles reportedly blocked Cardoso on the defensive end and then went to coach the No. 3 overall pick from the 2024 draft class. The former WNBA MVP shared a conversation with Cardoso, physically showing her how to avoid the block.

Cardoso ended the night with eight points and 10 rebounds. The 6'7" center out of South Carolina has averaged 8.4 points and 7.5 rebounds as a starter for the Sky.

There were multiple posts on the exchange of Cardoso and Charles, adding up to over 600,000 views. WNBA fans reacted to Charles' coaching and shared high praise for the WNBA veteran. One of the posts was captioned, "I was told veterans never give advice to rookies during games," so fans made sure to share their honest opinions.

"Well it’s also about building relationships and communication. Tina has been just amazing," said one fan.

"Clear cut case of how your attitude and level of respect open doors for you. Respect given, respect earned," said another fan.

The Sky will get back on the hardwood Friday against the Seattle Storm. They're set to pack up for a trip to the West Coast, playing in Emerald City.
