    Here are a few things happening on the Fourth and over the weekend.


    🇺🇸 Hyde Park's 53rd Parade : Join residents of Hyde Park at their annual July Fourth Parade. The parade starts at 11am, followed by a neighborhood festival from 12-3pm. Free

    ⛴️ July Fourth Independence Day Cruise: Take a three-hour cruise along the lakefront and party the day away. Enjoy the city's skyline with music by Chicagoan DJ Tecknique. Tickets start at $45

    • If you go: The boat will depart at 4:30pm from 900 S. Wells St.

    Coffee Hip Hop & Mental Health anniversary party: Join this nonprofit as it celebrates five years of working to "normalize therapy" around Chicago.

    • If you go: Enjoy live music and mingle with mental health and therapy advocates from 2-5pm Sunday. Tickets cost $35

    🏁 NASCAR Chicago Street Race : This 2.2-mile track is back in town with concerts in Grant Park, headlined by Keith Urban and The Chainsmokers.

    🌍 International Festival of Life : Celebrate African and Caribbean art, music and culture in Washington Park noon–10pm Thursday through Sunday. Tickets starting at $20
