Hilarious Social Media Exchange Could Land Angel Reese Big Endorsement Deal

    By Michael Gallagher,

Chicago Sky rookie power forward Angel Reese may have inadvertently stumbled her way into the most obvious partnership in professional sports.

The WNBA star is reportedly in talks with the Hershey Company about an endorsement deal with the brand’s popular candy, Reese’s, according to TMZ Sports .

The deal seemingly came about by pure accident. Following a 71-70 win over rival Caitlin Clark and the Indian Fever in late. June, Reese tweeted at her fans, who she referred to as “Reese’s pieces,” to which the official Reese’s X account responded back three days later, calling Reese its favorite player.

A Hershey spokesperson seemingly confirmed the candy-maker was interested in partnering with the WNBA All-Star.

“Reese x Reese does sound quite tasty,” they told TMZ.

The partnership makes too much sense given the obvious word play at hand, not to mention Reese’s love of the peanut butter flavored candy has been well-documented.

Just last month, she had well-known shoe designer Marvin Baroota make her custom Reese’s-inspired shoes with her name on them.

If Reese does land an endorsement deal with Reese’s, it would be another feather in her cap in terms of her personal brand. The 22-year-old star already has sponsorship deals with Beats by Dre, Raising Cane's, Reebok, Wingstop, Xfinity, and several other prominent companies.
