Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has made an unimaginable impact on the WNBA. The first-year star has helped grow the game of basketball, with her influence clearly shown amongst fans nationwide. NBA legend Dwyane Wade recently reacted to a viral video of young girls in awe of being in the presence of Reese.

    "Impact," said Wade via X.

Wade responded to the video with that one-word take while attaching a praying and black heart emoji. The former Miami Heat superstar is a minority stake owner of the Sky, so he's been able to watch the growth of their team from the moment Reese stepped foot in the Windy City.

During the Sky's 7-11 record, Reese has averaged 13.2 points and a league-leading 11.8 rebounds per game. She's been the most consistent starter in Chicago, entering the league as an already-established star from the LSU Tigers.

Reese's impact on the court is evident, but she clearly has a loud voice outside of basketball. The rookie has over 541,000 followers on X and three million on Instagram.

Wade has been vocal about Reese's impact on the WNBA all season. He's been seen courtside at several Sky games cheering on his hometown team.

The Sky will take the floor again Friday against the Seattle Storm at 10 p.m. ET.
